A New Chapter – Creating Space for Hope

A children’s home, supported by Child of Mine since 2008, was established on January 31, 1989, on the grounds of an abandoned leprosy hospital in remote northern India. The walls of these buildings were originally constructed with cow dung and mud plaster. Through the generosity of many people around the world, we have been able to repair and improve many of these buildings. Child of Mine had been dreaming with the staff and children for 10 years about building a new dorm for the boys, since some of the boys were still living in the original buildings. We are excited to announce that, as of October 15, 2021, through the tremendous support of many partners, the New Boys Dorm Project is substantially complete! Thank you to all who have partnered with us to turn this dream into reality!
